Every week, I am committed to sharing three of my favorite Leadership, Marketing and HR resources!

This week my Top 3 Favourite resources are:

According to Kevin, Microsoft's president, a leadership requirement includes the ability to be agile, resilient, empowering and enthusiastic. Whereas, the leader's priority is to create clarity, generate energy and deliver results. As for a CHRO, attributes of a successful CHRO include an individual who is committed to constantly learning, working with the leadership team to elevate employees to the top of the business strategy, and being intentional in setting the agenda of the organization’s people strategy. Gary Vee has an uncanny ability to understand consumer's behaviours and how to best grab people's attention. With an increased number of content being produced on different social media platforms, it can get crowded which can decrease organic engagement from consumers. In this video, Gary talks about how can you be a great story teller on the increasingly popular platform, Tik Tok, so you can market to Gen Z at scale. I also wonder, if this platform sticks around, will this be used as an affordable recruitment tool in the future so employers can promote their brand.

3. Recru!tment Now podcast with Will Van Middendorp- Becoming a Talent Thief.

In this podcast, the things that stood out to me most is the importance of finding out the whose who within the industry that you are looking to hire in and connecting with the individual directly. The other thing that resonated with me is his desire to create a community of recruiters who are very collaborative. Although not all managers and employers are comfortable with this level of collaboration, these relationships can go a long way when you are no longer competing in the same space and can help leverage each other's network.
