HBR's article: "How Humble Leadership Really Works"

To exercise humble leadership, it is important to be a servant leader. They view their key role as serving employees as they explore and grow, while actively seeking the ideas and unique contributions of the employees that they serve. It is important to emphasize that the responsibility of a leader is to increase the ownership, autonomy, and responsibility of followers — to encourage them to think for themselves and try out their own ideas.

Seth Godin's article: "What Your Dog Knows About Marketing"

If you can create a marketing campaign that provides an individual with a sense of belonging, connection, peace of mind, status, or one of the other most desired emotions, you’ve done something worthwhile. In the end, people don’t want what you make; they want what it will do for them.

Human Resources Online article: "HR Tech Trends for 2020 and Beyond"

The trends identified are 1. Virtual workspaces, 2. Tools for mental and emotional health including stress reduction, physical fitness, diet, and financial wellbeing, 3. Ethical introduction of automated technology especially if someone has to be redeployed due to the adoption of AI, 4. Enhance HR's ability to use and grasp analytic and 5. More technologies to address the health and wellness concerns centred around device fatigue.
