With a passion for Leadership, Marketing and Human Resources, this week my favourite resources are:

Masters of scale podcast , Ep. 53:"LIVE! All founders have a Trojan Horse w/Robert F. Smith"

My biggest takeaway includes the role that a leader can play in helping individuals fulfill their interests while marrying that with a company's purpose. It was also interesting hearing about the visceral blowback that a leader of colour can encounter and how to effectively handle it.

Marketing School podcast, Ep. 1231: "7 Ways To Skyrocket Your LinkedIn Engagement"

Two out of the seven tips stood out to me, the first one includes taking advantage of the LinkedIn live feature. The second point pertains to commenting on others LinkedIn posts and responding to individuals who engage with your post.

HRD's article: "How can HR reengage a 'checked out' team?"

This article emphasizes the importance of empowering leaders to have coaching conversations with disengaged team members especially leading up to the end of the year. This includes setting goals and expectations for the new year while removing barriers that might affect a team members ability to hit the ground running when they return to work after the holidays.
