This week, my Top 3 Favourite Resources are:
"To lead in a crisis requires listening to people, validating their feelings and concerns and then leading them to an understanding of how the situation is being handled." This requires deliberate intention to regulate one's own emotions, patience and the ability to identify and take time-sensitive steps.
It is extremely difficult because leaders are required to balance transparency with measured communication of upcoming problems and actions taken to mitigate them because the goal is to keep everyone informed but not to instigate panic.
3 Marketing strategies businesses can focus on during times of crisis and budget cuts are:
1) Inbound Marketing- Create useful content
2) Improve Customer Experience and Loyalty- customer retention
3) Reiterate the perceived value of the services offered
